My Story

My journey into physiotherapy began through a passion for sport and personal experience of injury, including managing my own ongoing hip pain. These experiences shaped my interest in understanding the human body and helping others recover and perform at their best.

I graduated from the University of Huddersfield in 2018 with a First-Class BSc in Physiotherapy, and since then have built experience across the NHS, private practice and elite sport. I currently work as a Lead Lower Limb Physiotherapist within Mid Yorkshire NHS Teaching Trust, alongside extended roles in emergency departments and fracture clinics.

Alongside my NHS work, I practice privately at Proactive Physiotherapy, and have experience working within elite sport, including football and rugby. I have also supported and mentored other clinicians and professionals within professional sport.

I maintain a strong interest in research and evidence-based practice, which has led to my involvement in published work within the field of physiotherapy. More recently, I have taken on a role at the University of Leeds, further developing my research career.

I am passionate about helping people move better, recover from injury, and return to the activities that matter most to them.
